Genuine Costa Rica was born from a family dream originally known as Bejuco Authentic, situated in the Bejuco district of Nandayure. In 2018, we made the decision to relocate from the Islita community, located south of the province of Guanacaste, to Liberia in the northern part of the province, in pursuit of new job and study opportunities. The revival of Bejuco Authentic was always intertwined with our family ventures. In 2020, we assumed the management of Eco Camping Papagayo, a camping site and restaurant located on Panamá Beach. Serving as the launchpad, Bejuco Authentic and Eco Camping, paved the way for the inception of Genuine Costa Rica in 2024.
